Self-Drilling Hex Screws

The #14 x 1" hex screws with a self-drilling tip come in a 10-pack and are made for mounting E-track or X-track rails to metal trailer walls, floors, and structural supports. The self-drilling tip removes the need to pre-drill in most metal applications, and the hex head gives power tools a solid grip to reduce slipping and stripping.

Hardware Kit for E-Track Singles

For a single anchor point rather than a full rail, the Snap-Loc single hardware kit includes four sets of 5/16" x 1" Allen head screws, fender washers, and nylon lock nuts. The fender washers spread the load over the mounting surface, and the lock nuts help resist loosening from vibration. Pair the kit with an E-Track Single by Snap-Loc to add a tie-down point in a pickup bed, utility vehicle, or shop wall where a full rail will not fit.

Choosing Mounting Hardware

• Know your surface: metal, wood, and composite panels each call for different fasteners, so match the hardware to what is behind the track.
• Check track compatibility: make sure the fastener head and size fit the rail's mounting holes.
• Plan for the load: the strength of an installed track depends on the fasteners and the structure underneath, so follow your track and vehicle manufacturer's guidance.
