Endless ratchet straps and endless cam straps are a variation of traditional tie downs that use a loop-only configuration. There are no hooks or end fittings to manage. Wrap the strap around your load, feed the webbing back into the ratchet or cam, then tighten to create a secure loop. This design is ideal for bundling items, attaching cargo to pallets, securing crates, and more.
How Endless Ratchet Straps Work
Traditional ratchet straps require end fittings to hook together, which can be cumbersome and not always secure. Endless ratchet tie downs are different. The webbing is routed around the item, back through the mandrel, and then tensioned with the ratchet. The result is a clean, tight loop with no loose hardware at the ends.
1" Endless Tie Downs
- Cam Buckle Option: Quick to tighten and release. Tension depends on operator strength.
- Ratchet Option: Easily achieves higher tension. Be mindful not to over-tighten.
- Best Use: Light duty applications such as smaller bundles, boxes, and recreational gear.
2" Endless Ratchet Straps
- Configuration: Ratchet only for higher capacity needs.
- Capacity Comparison: Highest 1" WLL is 1,100 lb. Highest 2" WLL is 3,333 lb - more than triple the capacity.
- Best Use: Heavier loads, larger pallets, equipment cases, and industrial bundling.
