Terrier FHX & FHSX Horizontal Lifting Clamps

Terrier's FHX and FHSX clamps are built for lifting and transporting non-sagging steel plates in a horizontal position. They suit fabrication, construction, and industrial work, and they're a standard choice for everyday plate handling in the shop or in the field.

Always Used in Pairs

These clamps are made to work in pairs. A pair spreads the load evenly and keeps the plate from deflecting or twisting in transit, and the rated working load limit applies only to paired use. Never lift with a single clamp.

FHX vs. FHSX

The two series share the same design and safety standards and differ in jaw capacity.

• FHX: the standard jaw, suited to a wide range of flat, rigid steel plate.
• FHSX: a wider jaw opening, better for thicker plate stock or material with irregular thickness.

Choose the series by the thickness of the plate you handle, then match the clamp pair's working load limit to your load.

Tested and Documented

Every clamp in both series is individually proof tested to 2x its working load limit, and each unit ships with a test certificate for your records. A built-in 5x safety factor supports consistent performance on demanding jobs.
