3/8" x 16' Grade 70 Tie Down Chain – 6,600 lb WLL
This Grade 70 tie down chain is engineered for securing heavy equipment and cargo in transport. Made from heat-treated carbon steel and equipped with forged grab hooks, this 3/8" chain provides reliable strength and long-lasting performance for demanding securement jobs.

- Grade 70 Carbon Steel – 20% stronger than Grade 43, designed for tough tie-down applications
- 10' Chain Length – Provides sufficient reach for securing wide loads
- Yellow Zinc Chromate Finish – Protects against corrosion and meets ASTM B633 Type II specifications
- Forged Clevis Grab Hooks – Non-cradle design fits through trailer rub rails and offers secure connections
- Replaceable End Fittings – Cotter pin-style connection allows for quick hook replacement if needed
Industry Compliance
This tie down chain meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications. Each hook is embossed with the size and grade, and chain links are clearly marked for fast identification. Please note: Grade 70 chain is not approved for overhead lifting.
