5/16" x 10' Eight Part Braided Wire Rope Sling
Specifications
Rotation resistance and even stress distribution are the hallmarks of this 5/16-inch, eight-part braided wire rope sling. The round, helical construction pairs with a 16-inch eye at each end, giving crews better load control than a 3- or 6-part braided sling without stepping up to the cost of a 9-part option.
Key Features
- Part of our full line of Braided Slings built for rotation and kink resistance
- 5/16-inch diameter, eight-part round braided wire sling for even load distribution
- 16-inch eye at each end for hook or shackle attachment
- Extra Improved Plow (EIP) grade steel construction with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC)
- Rated for more capacity than comparable 3- or 6-part braided wire slings
Applications
- Rigging jobs where a 6-part braided sling doesn't offer quite enough capacity
- Lifts where kink resistance and even load distribution are a priority
- Vertical and choker hitch setups
- Our product specialists can help confirm the right braided sling for your application
