Manufactured in the USA from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this 5/8" galvanized wire rope is built for demanding lifting, rigging, and material handling applications. Featuring a durable 6x26 construction and an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), it provides excellent abrasion resistance, dependable strength, and long-term performance in harsh operating environments. The hot-dip drawn galvanized finish delivers superior corrosion protection without sacrificing breaking strength, making it an ideal choice for outdoor, marine-adjacent, and exposed job-site conditions.
Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer identification or visibility purposes. These color variations do not affect assembly break strength.

6x19 Wire Rope Configuration
This wire rope is manufactured using EIPS-grade steel. Extra Improved Plow Steel provides approximately 10% greater tensile strength than standard IPS-grade wire rope, resulting in higher breaking strength and dependable load-handling capability.
The class of this wire rope is 6x19. These numbers nominally refer to the rope construction, consisting of six outer strands surrounding the core, with approximately 15-26 wires within each strand. The actual construction of this domestic rope is 6x26, providing an ideal balance of durability, flexibility, and abrasion resistance.
Hot-Dip Drawn Galvanized Finish & IWRC Core
The hot-dip drawn galvanizing process provides long-lasting corrosion protection while maintaining the rope's full rated strength. Unlike traditional galvanization methods that may reduce breaking strength, the drawn galvanizing process preserves performance while increasing resistance to rust, moisture, and environmental exposure.
The Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) provides superior support compared to fiber core constructions. It improves crush resistance, helps maintain rope shape under heavy loads, and delivers reliable performance in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 400°F.
