7/8" x 14' Plasma® Eye & Eye Sling
Specifications
Plasma® slings offer a lighter, safer alternative to a wire rope sling in many rigging jobs, matching wire rope strength size for size while cutting weight and lowering the risk of dangerous recoil. This 7/8" Plasma eye and eye sling is built with a lock stitch buried eye splice and is 100% made in the USA, from fiber through fabrication and splicing.
Key Features
- 7/8" diameter Plasma 12-strand rope construction.
- Lock stitch buried eye splice at each end.
- Matches the strength of a comparable wire rope sling at a fraction of the weight, with lower risk of dangerous breakage or recoil.
- 100% made in the USA, from raw fiber through fabrication and splicing.
- Factory load tested to confirm fabrication meets its rated standard.
Applications
- Overhead lifting and rigging jobs where a lighter alternative to wire rope reduces handling strain.
- Crews that want a documented, load-tested, U.S.A.-made synthetic sling.
- Rigging setups in corrosive or wet environments where steel slings wear out faster.
