The FallTech 84108SP8S FT-X Self-Retracting Lifeline combines leading-edge protection with a compact, lightweight EdgeCore™ lifeline. Engineered from Kevlar® core material with a UV-resistant composite jacket, this SRL delivers the strength of steel with 40% less weight-reducing fatigue and improving mobility for your crew.
Built for Tie-Back, Below D-Ring, and Leading Edge Applications
This Class 2 SRL-P unit is designed for below D-ring tie-offs (up to 5 feet), steel edges, and precast concrete. The steel snap hook includes a 5,000 lb. rated gate for safe tie-back use. Inside, an upgraded braking system minimizes lockups during movement. A compact housing keeps the unit aligned properly for better ergonomics, and the integrated fall clearance charts are stored inside the absorber cover for quick on-site reference.
