Specifications
Built around 3/8" Grade 70 transport chain and a matching 3/8" ratchet load binder, this kit gives flatbed and open-deck haulers a ready-to-use tie-down combo sized for heavier loads than the 5/16" line. Chain and binder ship together so there's no guesswork matching components.
Key Features
- Standard-link Grade 70 chain in high-strength carbon steel, about 20% stronger than comparable Grade 43 chain
- Clevis grab hooks on both ends of the chain, with a yellow zinc chromate finish for corrosion resistance and easy grade recognition
- Chain is strength-tested and heat-treated for consistent durability
- Ratchet binder's cam-and-pawl design delivers smooth, controllable tensioning
- Forged steel handle holds very little kinetic energy in use, lowering recoil risk versus a lever binder
- Grade markings are embossed on the chain links and hooks; the binder is marked with a working load limit and traceability code
- Both components are manufactured to meet or exceed FMCSA (CFR49 Section 393.104), NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications, and WSTDA T-6 standards
