Pair a 3/8 inch Grade 70 transport chain with a Peerless QuikBinder Plus ratchet binder in this ready-to-use two-piece kit, built for flatbed and trailer tie-down work.
Key Features
- Peerless QuikBinder Plus ratchet binder installs in one of three positions: ratchet extension, ratchet take-up, or free spin for quick slack adjustment in either direction
- Folding handle keeps the mechanism clear of the load once everything is tightened down
- Tamper-resistant construction accepts a long-shank padlock (sold separately), and the binder stores hung in the locked position
- 3/8 inch Grade 70 chain features standard links with clevis grab hooks on both ends and a yellow zinc chromate finish
- Chain is high-strength carbon steel, rated 20 percent stronger than Grade 43, and is both strength-tested and heat-treated
- Chain meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications; binder meets or exceeds WSTDA T-6 Recommended Standards
- Size and grade are embossed on the hooks and chain links, and the binder carries its working load limit plus a traceability code for fast inspection
- This 3/8 inch pairing carries a rated working load limit of 6,600 lbs
