Made from 18-gauge ZMAX galvanized steel with a black powder-coat finish, these face-mount joist hangers provide corrosion resistance, code-compliant performance, and decorative appeal for outdoor wood structures. The LUSPC series uses double-shear fastening, which distributes the load through two points on each connector screw for added strength with fewer fasteners.

Installation
Install the LUSPC joist hanger with the specified Simpson Strong-Tie Outdoor Accents connector screws. Header fasteners use Outdoor Accents #9 x 1-1/2" connector screws, while joist fasteners use Outdoor Accents #9 x 2-1/2" connector screws. Joist screws must be driven at an angle through the joist or truss into the header to achieve published loads. Always use all specified fasteners and follow Simpson Strong-Tie installation requirements for the selected hanger size.
