The Simpson Strong-Tie tie-wire anchor is designed for use in normal-weight concrete or in concrete over steel decking. This wedge-style expansion anchor features a tri-segmented, dual-embossed clip. Each segment adjusts independently to hole irregularities. The dual embossments allow the clip to undercut into the concrete, increasing follow-up expansion. The Simpson TW25114 tire-wire anchor is excellent for the installation of an acoustic ceiling grid. It can be easily set with the claw of a hammer.
