8 Part Braided Wire Rope Slings

Wire rope slings are a common choice for crane lifting because of their strength, and a braided wire sling adds even more by braiding multiple wire ropes together. That makes a braided sling a good fit for heavy-duty, high-capacity lifts.

The 8 Part Braid

The 8 part braided sling is one of the most popular braided options. Eight parts are braided together into a rounded body, and that shape helps distribute stress evenly and resists rotation and kinks. The sling is made with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) and offers better rated capacities than a 3 or 6 part braided sling. It comes in a variety of diameters, lengths, and eye sizes to match your lift.
