Crosby® G-414 Extra Heavy
Crosby® G-414 heavy duty wire rope thimbles are built to help protect wire rope eyes from crushing, abrasion, and premature wear in demanding rigging applications. Each steel thimble is hot dip galvanized for dependable corrosion resistance in outdoor, industrial, and jobsite environments.
The hot dip galvanizing process coats the fabricated steel thimble in molten zinc, forming a bonded protective layer that helps shield the base metal from moisture, weather exposure, and other corrosive conditions. This makes G-414 thimbles a strong choice for contractors, riggers, and maintenance crews who need durable wire rope hardware with proven performance.
All sizes of Crosby® G-414 heavy duty thimbles meet the performance requirements of Federal Specification FF-T-276b Type III, except for provisions required of the contractor.
