How to Choose the Right G70 Chain
- Start with WLL. Select a chain size with a working load limit that meets or exceeds your required securement capacity. Never exceed the listed WLL.
- Match the length. Choose 10 ft for short reaches or 16 to 25 ft for larger equipment and multi point tie downs.
- Confirm hook style. Clevis grab hooks work with most binder and anchor setups used in transport.
- Binder compatibility. Use binder sizes that align with your chain size and rating. For example, 3/8 inch binders commonly pair with 3/8 inch G70 chain. Check product pages for exact WLL.
- Inspect before each use. Remove from service if you find bends, cracks, severe wear, or damaged hooks.
