Simpson MTWS Mass Timber Washer Straps are tested, load-rated tension straps designed to minimize cost and maximize speed and precision while providing strength, versatility, and reliability. The MTWS48 strap utilizes MTW45-8 washers and Strong-Drive SDCF Timber-CF (SDCF) fully threaded countersunk-head screws. This combination provides the tension strap with high strength and stiffness that can be used in a variety of CLT diaphragm and wall applications.
