Semi Step Tool Boxes

Semi Step Tool Boxes

A semi step tool box does two jobs at once: it gives you a place to store gear and a foothold when you climb up to the back of the truck. These boxes mount on the driver's side between the cab and trailer, adding storage without taking up space you need elsewhere. They hold commonly used items within reach, like work gloves, rubber boots, WD-40, and basic hand tools. Each unit is compact and easy to mount.

Gator Box vs. Standard Step Box

Sturdy-Lite, a trusted name in trucking equipment, makes a modified version of the standard step box, sometimes called a Gator Box, in the USA. Two differences set it apart:

• A standard model has a traditional drop-down door, while the Gator Box door opens from the top so it stays out of your way.
• The lid props up automatically with an air shock, which makes your gear easier to reach.

Diamond Tread Finish

Every step box in our lineup has a diamond plate aluminum finish. The tread pattern adds grip in wet or slick conditions and hides scratches, scuffs, and dents better than a polished surface, which matters on a box that gets regular use as a step.

Built by Sturdy-Lite in the USA

• High-strength aluminum alloy construction
• Precision cutting with CNC machining and laser technology
• Welds completed by AWS-certified professionals
• A custom gutter system that helps keep the box weather resistant

Each box comes with a limited manufacturer's warranty.
