Specifications
1 year warranty
Mounting brackets sold separately
All welds completed by AWS-certified welder
The Sturdy-Lite Gator step box mounts on the driver's side of the truck between the cab and trailer, giving easy access to the deck along with handy storage for gloves, rubber boots, WD-40, and other basic tools needed on every trip. Unlike a standard step box, the Gator Box's lid opens upward instead of downward, so it stays out of the way, and a built-in air shock props it open automatically.
Key Features
- .125" thick, high-strength premium aluminum alloy construction, CNC-machined and laser-cut for consistency, with AWS-certified welding and reinforced corners.
- Lid opens upward with a built-in air shock, rather than swinging down and staying in the way.
- Diamond plate finish adds slip resistance and hides scuffs and scratches better than a mirror finish.
- Non-slip bars on the steps add further traction.
- Folding T-handle door locks (heavy-duty roller locks) with a protective keyhole covering; unique keys per unit.
- Heavy-duty, one-piece solid rain gusset with rubber water seals keeps contents dry.
- Domestically made in Bristol, TN; backed by a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
- Mounting brackets sold separately.
Applications
- Semi trucks that want combined step access and basic tool storage between cab and trailer.
- Drivers who want everyday items like gloves, boots, and WD-40 within easy reach.
- Fleets that prefer an upward-opening lid over a standard drop-down design.

Step Up. Store More.
The Sturdy-Lite Step Box pairs convenient storage with easy access to your deck. A built-in air shock props the upward-opening lid in place, freeing up your hands as you reach for what you need. Keep supplies stored securely and step confidently between cab and trailer.
Sealed Tight Against Moisture And Dust
Keep your gear protected from rain, dust, and the harshest road conditions. A heavy-duty, one-piece solid rain gusset paired with rubber water seals creates a tight, weatherproof barrier that shields your gear from the elements.
