Rough or worn hooks gradually chew through nylon webbing wherever they make contact, and that abrasion adds up over the life of a sling. Triangle lift slings solve this at the source. A steel triangle fitting, sometimes called a d-ring, sits at each end of the webbing and takes the wear a shackle would otherwise take on an eye & eye sling, keeping hook barbs and rough surfaces off the nylon itself. Aluminum triangles are available on request if that fits your setup better.

This is a type 2 triangle sling, built for basket and vertical hitches only. If you also need choker capability, look at the type 1 triangle choker sling instead. It uses a slotted triangle on one end that the other end can pass through, which is what makes the choker hitch possible.

Like the rest of our nylon lifting slings, triangle slings are woven from heavy-duty, industry-standard webbing rated at 9,800 lbs. per inch, and every sling ships with a sewn-in tag listing working load limits across hitch types. Nearly any length or width is available. If you don't see the exact size, hitch type, or an aluminum-triangle configuration you need, our sales team can help track it down. All slings are made to order, with a standard assembly lead time of 1-3 days before shipping.

Sling Proof Testing Certificates

Certified proof testing is available for a nominal fee and must be requested when you place your order. Certified slings are pull tested at the factory to twice their rated vertical capacity, with results officially documented for compliance purposes. Outside of a certified request, only random slings from a given production run are tested during standard manufacturing, since a proof-tested sling has to be individually tested at the time it's made.
