This J Bolt is a high quality and versatile anchor bolt for concrete, engineered for superior strength and durability. Made from heavy duty steel, these J bolts are ideal for industrial and commercial applications as well as DIY projects to anchor structures to concrete foundations or other applications where concrete anchors are necessary. Commonly called "wet-set" concrete anchors, these J bolts are installed when the concrete is wet and allowed to cure, then allowing structures to anchor on to the hardened concrete.
This J bolt measures 18" long and 1" in diameter, with 6" threads on the shaft. Specifically crafted from F1554 Grade 55 Hot Rolled Steel, these J bolts feature a Hot Dip Galvanized finish to provide additional corrosion resistance.
F1554 Grade 55 Hot Rolled Steel is a type of carbon steel that conforms to ASTM F1554 which dictates its minimum yield strength of 55 KSI (kilo-pound per square inch), making it suitable for construction and anchoring applications.
