I am having restoration done on my OLD log house-built when log houses were built down to the ground. Decided to protect the bottom logs with formed metal flashing (dark gray) needing varying lengths of matching metal screws. Unfortunately, locally, the 3" versions of the charcoal gray metal roofing screws didn't seem to be available and no one seemed particularly interested in trying to find them for me so, I did an "out of region" search looking at more colored roofing screws than I ever thought possible until I found Fasteners Plus and lo and behold, the exact screws I was looking for. In addition to having exactly what I wanted, I received them in what I consider a timely fashion as many of the items being used for my house restoration have been backordered upon backorder so what it boils down to is: Fasteners Plus had exactly what I wanted, I was able to get them in a timely fashion and FP kept me apprised of shipping et al.
