Specifications
At 4 inches wide, this synthetic roundsling is sized for heavier rigging jobs that have outgrown the smallest widths in the line. This mid-range option in the line carries a 60,000 lb. vertical capacity, and like the rest of this high performance roundsling family, this UHMPE synthetic roundsling doubles as a straightforward wire rope sling alternative, staying lighter and easier to maneuver than an equivalent wire rope or polyester sling.
Key Features
- Endless construction using UHMPE core yarn with a double-layer polyester cover that protects against abrasion, dirt, and grime
- 75% less elongation than a comparable polyester roundsling, for easier control in tight headroom
- Repairable outer jacket, as long as the core yarn itself isn't damaged
- Proof-tested to 200% of rated capacity, with a 5:1 design factor
- Sewn tag lists manufacturer name, stock number, core and cover material, and rated load for at least one hitch and angle
- Rated for use between 140°F/60°C and -40°F/-40°C
- Meets ASME B30.9 standards and is made in the USA
