A 5 inch high performance roundsling moves into serious capacity territory, built for jobs where a wire rope sling alternative needs to actually match wire rope's numbers. This highest option in the line carries a 125,000 lb. vertical capacity, and like the rest of this high performance roundsling family, this UHMPE synthetic roundsling doubles as a straightforward wire rope sling alternative, staying lighter and easier to maneuver than an equivalent wire rope or polyester sling.
Key Features
- UHMPE core yarn in an endless construction, wrapped in a double-layer polyester cover for protection from abrasion, dirt, and grime
- Stretches 75% less than an equivalent polyester roundsling, making it easier to control in tight headroom
- Repairable outer jacket, as long as the core yarn itself isn't damaged
- Proof-tested to 200% of rated capacity, with a 5:1 design factor
- Tag information sewn into the sling covers manufacturer name, stock number, materials, and rated load for at least one hitch and angle
- Rated for use between 140°F/60°C and -40°F/-40°C
- Meets ASME B30.9 standards and is made in the USA
