Description

Loose, bulky, or oddly-shaped cargo can turn a straightforward lift into a headache, especially when a load won't sit still in a standard sling. A cargo lifting net solves that problem by wrapping around the load and conforming to its shape, so crews loading ships, running helicopter lifts, or hoisting materials on a jobsite can move awkward freight without repacking or rebanding it first. This lifting net is built from polyester webbing and carries a 4,500 lb working load limit, giving crews a hoisting net that's strong enough for demanding lifts and still practical to handle and store between jobs.

Key Features

  • 4,500 lb working load limit rated for commercial and industrial lifting applications.
  • Polyester webbing construction that resists minor abrasion, UV exposure, and moisture damage, and stays lighter than comparable wire or manila rope cargo netting.
  • Polyester over nylon: no loss of strength when wet, roughly 50% less stretch, and stronger UV resistance than a nylon cargo net.
  • 6-1/4" mesh openings sized to contain smaller pieces of cargo along with larger bulky loads.
  • Elongated pear link corner fittings in 3/8" galvanized alloy steel, compatible with a variety of hooks and rigging hardware.
  • High-visibility orange centering stripes that mark where a load should sit, useful for loading in low-light or low-visibility conditions.
  • Built to meet or exceed ASME B30.9 criteria, including its identification and removal-from-service guidelines.
  • Made in the USA, with custom tagging and load testing available on request.

Applications

  • Loading and unloading freight on ships and at ports
  • Helicopter lifts for equipment, supplies, and remote-site materials
  • Jobsite material handling where loads are loose, bulky, or irregularly shaped
  • General crane hoisting where a standard sling isn't a good fit for the load
  • Any lift that calls for cargo netting instead of chains, rope nets, or individual slings
