Made in the USA from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this 3/4" bright wire rope features a durable 6x26 construction and an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) for enhanced strength, stability, and abrasion resistance. Designed for demanding lifting, hoisting, winching, and structural rigging applications, it provides reliable performance in tough industrial environments.
Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer identification or visibility purposes; these color variations do not affect assembly break strength.

The 6x19 class construction balances abrasion resistance and flexibility, making it a popular choice for general-purpose wire rope applications. Manufactured from high-strength EIPS steel, it delivers approximately 10% greater tensile strength than IPS-grade wire rope. The bright finish is lubricated with a petroleum-based coating that helps reduce internal friction and provides basic moisture protection, while the IWRC core improves crushing resistance and load support. This wire rope meets RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 requirements for dependable industrial performance.
6x19 Wire Rope Configuration
Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope, offering approximately 10% greater tensile strength than IPS-grade wire rope and improving overall break strength.
The class of this wire rope is 6x19. These numbers nominally refer to the construction of the wire rope: the number of outer strands around the core and an estimation of the number of wires within each strand. For a 6x19 class wire rope, there are 6 outer strands and approximately 15-26 wires per strand. The actual construction of this domestic rope is 6x26.
