Description

This 4" x 50' ratchet tie-down combines rugged webbing with a ratcheting take-up mechanism, so you can tension a load precisely without guessing at how tight is tight enough. It comes fitted with a compact wire hook (also called a double J-hook) built to reach narrow anchor points and D-rings.

Key Features

  • Heavyweight polyester webbing woven with more picks per inch than typical straps on the market, for a webbing that resists abrasion, tearing, and cutting
  • Heat-sealed webbing ends that resist fraying so the strap keeps its finished edge over years of use
  • Slim wire hook profile that fits into tight anchor points where a bulkier hook won't reach
  • Zinc-plated hardware that stands up to weather and everyday corrosion
  • Tagged and stenciled with break strength and working load limit information to support compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American cargo securement standards

Applications

  • Securing lumber, pipe, and other bundled materials
  • Everyday towing and utility trailer use
  • Moving and general hauling with pickup trucks and trailers
  • Flatbed and open-trailer freight hauling

Installation

Route the fixed end of the strap around or through the anchor points on your load, then thread the loose end through the ratchet and take up the slack by hand. Crank the ratchet handle to bring the strap to a snug, even tension, then fold the handle down to lock it in place. Always follow the strap's tagged working load limit and any manufacturer instructions for your specific ratchet mechanism, and check tension periodically during transport.

MONSTER STRENGTH

The most strongest strap you ever can find. Very heavy equipment to hold almost everything in place during transport. Excellent product

Big and durable

These were way beefier than I anticipated. Great quality and strong. I returned them as they were too big. Freight alone killed my refund. Reordered smaller 2" ones. Love em.

This thing is

This thing is stout! It looks as if I could strap down a tank. The metal is thick, and the assy. is much bigger than you think. I chose this one over the 3" to go a little heavier duty than I needed, but when it arrived I realized I had completely over shot me needs. Great strap.
