Simpson self-drilling siding screw is made with 410 stainless steel. Features #3 drill point and used to attach wood siding, wood panels and metal trim to steel studs. Type 410 stainless steel can be hardened through heat treatment, giving it the ability to drill through metal. Does not offer the same corrosion resistance as 305 or 316 stainless steel.
