Crosby® S-281 3.25 Ton Web Sling Shackles - Optimized for Web and Round Sling Performance
The Crosby S-281 Web Sling Shackle is designed to maximize the performance and longevity of your synthetic slings. Its squared bow offers a wide sling-bearing surface that helps distribute the load evenly, improving sling efficiency by at least 15% compared to standard anchor shackles or eye hooks. This design enables the sling to achieve 100% of its rated Working Load Limit without bunching or stress points.
Constructed from forged alloy steel for durability, the S-281 features pin dimensions and ear spread identical to conventional Crosby shackles-making it easy to integrate into existing rigging setups. The screw pin closure provides a fast, secure connection for frequent or adjustable lifting applications.
Each shackle is clearly marked with the working load limit, Crosby brand name, and PIC code for traceability. Proof tested to 2x the WLL, this shackle offers added confidence in critical lifts.
