I was looking for a short digging bar to dig a hole in rocks, but this is better. It can take the pounding without a problem. It's nice and sturdy at the right price.

Vehicle recovery deadman

I got two of theses stakes to use as a vehicle recovery deadman to hook vehicle winches to for recoveries in desert sand. I haven't had the opportunity use them for that purpose yet but some of my friends involved in Jeep recoveries have had good success with them. I also use them for anchor points for my tarp sun shade. The length works well in sand.
