This 5/8" vertical lifeline rope is built as a three-strand twisted, premium polyester blend designed to resist the hockling and kinking that plagues cheaper lifeline rope. A shrink tube protects the splice point, the back-spliced trailing end works cleanly with hinged arresters and adjusters, and an alloy steel snap hook gives you a dependable connection right out of the bag.
