FallTech ElasTech® 6' Shock-Absorbing Lanyard - Single Leg | Model 8240
The FallTech ElasTech® 8240 is a premium shock-absorbing lanyard engineered to combine fall protection with jobsite mobility. Designed with internal elastic webbing, it automatically contracts from 6' to 4.5' as the user moves, reducing trip hazards and minimizing slack while climbing or positioning.
Elastic Shock Absorbing Lanyard with Snap Hooks
Ideal for construction, utilities, and elevated maintenance work, this energy-absorbing lanyard features abrasion- and UV-resistant polyester webbing with a high-modulus elastic core that maintains flexibility over time. Dual alloy steel snap hooks offer secure attachment at both the anchor and harness ends. Compliant with ANSI Z359.13-2013, this lanyard supports a 6' free fall with a maximum arrest distance of 48" and average arrest force of just 900 lbs.
