This kit combines a Peerless QuikBinder Plus ratchet binder with 1/2" Grade 80 tie-down chain for crews who want a faster, tamper-resistant securement setup. Grade 80's added toughness makes it a common step up from Grade 70 for demanding hauling conditions.
Key Features
- Peerless QuikBinder Plus binder offers three operating positions: ratchet extension, ratchet take-up, and a free-spin setting for quick adjustment in either direction
- Folding handle tucks the mechanism out of the way once the load is secured
- Tamper-resistant design accepts a long-shank padlock (sold separately) to help deter theft; lock it and hang it for storage
- Grade 80 chain delivers better fatigue and abrasion resistance than Grade 70 for repeated, heavy-duty use
- Black-painted chain finish adds corrosion resistance
- Clevis grab hooks use a non-cradle design that fits through a flatbed trailer's rub rail for a quick, secure connection
- Chain and binder are each manufactured to meet or exceed FMCSA (CFR49 Section 393.104), NACM, and WSTDA T-6 requirements, with size and grade embossed on the hardware and a traceability code on the binder
