This shoulder lag eye bolt is designed for secure anchoring and lifting in wood applications where through-bolting is not practical. Featuring a lag thread for strong grip and a reinforced shoulder, it supports both vertical and angular loads when properly installed. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, it delivers excellent resistance to corrosion in marine and high-moisture environments.
Please Note: Loading at an angle will significantly reduce a bolt's rated capacity; a 45 degree angle reduces it to just 1/4 of the stated rating. Never load at an angle greater than 45 degrees from the bolt center line.
