M&W 0.55 Ton Horizontal Plate Clamp | Non-Marring Grip - 24774
Specifications
WLL (tons): 0.55
This M&W horizontal plate clamp uses a non-marring grip to move sheets, plates, and bundled material horizontally without damaging the surface, making it a good fit for more fragile cargo than a toothed clamp would allow. Used in pairs and generally rigged with a multi-leg sling, these clamps attach to the side edges of steel plate to hold it level during the move.
Key Features
- Non-marring grip protects fragile or finished cargo from clamp marks
- Designed for use in pairs, typically with a multi-leg sling
- Rated for a 60-degree sling angle; lesser angles reduce the working load limit
- Working load limit is rated for two or more clamps at 60 degrees
Applications
- Horizontal transport of sheet and plate bundles that can't tolerate marring
- Any m&w horizontal lifting clamp setup rigged with a multi-leg sling
- Fragile or finished-surface material handling in a fabrication or steel yard setting
