Description:

The Simpson Strong-Tie HLPC/HTPC straps are non-notched, beam-to-column ties used in ornamental applications where a more finished look is required. The 1212HTPC T strap features a flat black powder-coated finish which produces a much more durable and better looking finish than standard paint.

Installation:
  • Use all specified fasteners.
  • 1212HL, 1616HL, 1212HT and 1616HT are to be installed in pairs with machine bolts in double shear. A single part with machine bolts in single shear is not load rated.
  • Allowable loads are based on a minimum member thickness of 3 1/2".
  • 1212HT, 1616HT loads assume a continuous beam.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Timbers to LVL beams connection plates

The T plates and the L plates were first class. The city building permit compliance person said those look perfect, just what he wanted to see installed. That brings me more joy.
