Notice - This connector is designed for Rough Cut lumber NOT nominal lumber (most common). This will only fit a joist that measures an actual 6x10". If you have a nominal joist measuring 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" you will need an APLH26 Decorative Light Joist Hanger.
The Simpson APLH26R is a concealed flange light joist hanger designed specifically for rough cut 2x6 lumber (actual dimensions: 2" x 6"). Its concealed flange design offers a clean, finished appearance, making it ideal for outdoor projects where aesthetics are important.

excellent product
Work perfect for my 2 x 10 for the first hanger for my awning
The hanger is well made and will hold up to the task. The suggested companion screw pack is not appropriate. This is not the right size for a flush mount on the sides and a bit too long for the back mounting.
These brackets are absolutely wonderful! They are sturdy, well finished, and tuck away perfectly for a double-sided fence!
True dimensions allow for actual 2x4 stringers to be used. Will buy again for next project!
Searching options up and down the web, I was looking to find hangers to reestablish a 20 year old fence.
The Simpson Hanger offered the best look, hidden screws, and reasonable strength for holding beams between posts.
No where in the prosses of picking them out, ordering on line, or delivery time was there a problem.
Fasteners Plus even had the for site to ask about the actual plank dimensions. I was about to place an order for the 2x6 hangers when in fact I was going to need the 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 hangers. Good save, both in time and returns.
Over all I'm not sure that this was the original intention for these Hangers, but they sure do the job.
