Specifications
The Simpson Strong-Tie DSHS Drift Stopper is engineered to help limit lateral deflection in curtain-wall and other non-load-bearing cold-formed steel stud assemblies. Designed for use with the DSSCB drift stopper plate (sold separately), this connector provides a strong, secure connection that resists sliding under lateral loads while allowing vertical movement.
Made from 97 mil (12 gauge) galvanized steel, the DSHS connector is ideal for helping structures absorb movement from seismic or wind activity while maintaining overall structural integrity.
