The Simpson Strong-Tie HDUE Holdown is a high-capacity structural holdown designed to anchor wood shearwalls and posts to concrete foundations. It transfers uplift and overturning forces from wood framing into the foundation, helping protect structures in high-wind and seismic conditions.
Built for high uplift resistance, the HDUE series provides enhanced lateral load support for demanding shearwall applications. The included SDS structural screws create a strong, code-compliant connection to wood studs or posts while simplifying installation.
