The Simpson Strong-Tie HGLT Heavy Glulam Top-Flange Hanger is meticulously designed to support glulam beams in structural applications, ensuring robust and reliable connections. Its innovative features and sturdy construction make it a preferred choice for professionals seeking dependable performance in wood construction projects.
Key Features:
- Funnel Flange Design: Incorporates a Funnel Flange feature that guides beams into place, facilitating accurate and efficient installation.
- Material: Constructed with a 3-gauge top flange and a 7-gauge stirrup, providing exceptional strength and durability.
- Finish: Standard finish is Simpson Strong-Tie gray paint. For enhanced corrosion resistance, a hot-dip galvanized (HDG) option is available upon request.
Customization Options:
- Skewed and Sloped Seats: Seats may be skewed up to a maximum of 50° and/or sloped up to 45° to accommodate various design requirements. When the seat is sloped, the maximum allowable load is 9,165 lb.; when skewed, it is 7,980 lb.
- Top Flange Modifications: The top flange may be sloped down to the left or right up to 30° or offset left or right for placement at the end of a header. Load reductions apply based on the degree of modification.
