Description

The SCW connectors offer 1" of upward and 1" of downward movement. They are primarily used in head-of-wall applications that require vertical movement relative to the structure. SCW connectors are often used to strengthen window and door jambs for projects that utilize slip track. The SCW5.5-KT slide clip connector features a G90 Galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.


Installation:
  • Use the specified number of #14 shouldered screws (included). Install shouldered screws in the slots adjacent to the “No-Equal” stamp.
  • Use a maximum of 1 screw per slot.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Hassle free procurement

Happy with order, didn't have time for the local Simpson dealer to procure. Needed asap. Shipping cost to Alaska was a bit steep, but that is common. Have order from Fasteners Plus in the past and will again in the future.
