Installation
Install the PFC angles in pairs using all specified wood fasteners, concrete anchors and washers shown in the applicable Simpson Strong-Tie installation instructions and load tables. Standard installations position the two angles on opposite faces of the column. Adjacent-face corner installations may be permitted when completed according to the published corner-condition requirements. Attach the angles to the wood column with the supplied Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws. Where a built-in washer is included, remove it by hand and install it beneath the head of the specified concrete anchor. Some models require a separate standard-cut washer. Foundation size, reinforcement, anchor selection, embedment and allowable loads must be determined for the project conditions.
Complete the connection with compatible concrete post anchors, post-frame fasteners, pole barn hardware and structural connector accessories.
