Installation
Use two PFC angles per column connection unless the project design and Simpson Strong-Tie documentation specify otherwise. Position the angles on opposite faces for a standard installation or follow the published corner-condition table when placing them on adjacent faces. Secure the angles to the wood column with all supplied Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws. Install the specified concrete anchors with the required washers, removing built-in washers where provided. Do not substitute fasteners, anchors or installation patterns without approval from the project designer. Select the finish based on the service environment, wood treatment, exposure conditions and desired appearance.
