Installation
Position the PFCB bracket on the completed concrete foundation according to the project plans and Simpson Strong-Tie installation requirements. Optional set-screw holes may be used to temporarily hold the bracket in position before drilling and installing the specified concrete anchors. Do not use the PFCB pilot holes as concrete-anchor holes. Remove the built-in washers by hand and place them beneath the heads of the concrete anchors. Set the wood column into the bracket and install every supplied Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screw in the specified holes. Concrete strength, edge distance, anchor type, embedment, foundation reinforcement and allowable loads must match the engineered connection design.
