Sturdy-Lite Cab Rack Side Mounting Kit
Specifications
Mounting a headache rack around an obstacle already fixed to the frame calls for hardware built to work around it, and this side mounting kit is designed for exactly that scenario. It mounts the rack to the side of the main frame and the side of the cab rack foot, clearing any accessories already mounted between the truck's main frame rails.
Key Features
- Mounts to the side of the frame and cab rack foot rather than on top, clearing existing frame-mounted accessories.
- Kit includes (16) Grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers, (4) brackets, (2) rubber pads, (4) large bracket spacers, and (4) small bracket spacers.
- Domestically made in Bristol, TN.
- U-bolt and straight frame mounting kits are also available for different frame configurations.
- A mounting kit should never be reused; use a new kit for each installation for safety reasons.
Applications
- Trucks with accessories already mounted between the frame rails where a standard U-bolt or straight-frame kit won't clear.
- Fleets standardizing headache rack mounting hardware across trucks with varying frame configurations.
- Replacing mounting hardware as part of a headache rack install or reinstall, using a fresh kit each time.
