EcoFoil Under Slab Insulation is a patented solution designed specifically for concrete slab and radiant floor installations. Built for demanding below-grade environments, this lightweight material conforms easily to the ground and avoids the voids or air pockets common with thicker foam products. At 1/4" to 5/16" thick, it features a metalized reflective layer fully laminated between two durable polyethylene bubble sheets. With a compression strength of 140 PSI, it delivers dependable support under concrete without compromising structural performance.
The fully encapsulated design protects the reflective layer from direct contact with soil and moisture—two conditions that can corrode exposed foil in traditional bubble insulation or radiant barriers. By positioning the reflective sheet between bubble layers, the product maintains the necessary airspace for reflectivity while shielding the foil from deterioration during slab curing or long-term ground exposure.

EcoFoil Under Slab Insulation reflects 57% of radiant heat back toward the slab, reducing heat loss into the soil and improving radiant system efficiency. Beyond thermal benefits, it also provides vapor and radon protection, adding critical environmental control below concrete floors.
