5/8" Tie Down Chain

We offer 5/8" Grade 80 and Grade 100 transport chain assemblies in multiple pre-cut lengths. Each assembly comes equipped with grab hooks on both ends for quick and reliable attachment.

If you’re purchasing larger quantities, bulk chain is also available in both Grade 80 and Grade 100 options.

5/8" Chain Binders

Proper pairing of chain and binders is essential for safe and effective load securement. Always consider the working load limit (WLL) of each component, as the overall system capacity is determined by the lowest-rated piece.

Key considerations include:

• Confirm Fit: Make sure the chain size falls within the binder’s rated capacity range
• Align Working Load Limits: The binder and chain should have matching WLL ratings to maintain full system strength
• Routine Inspection: Regularly check for wear, deformation, or corrosion on all components
• Understand Chain Grades: Be familiar with differences between Grades 30, 43, 80, and 100 and how they impact performance

5/8" Clevis Grab Hooks

Our 5/8" clevis grab hooks are manufactured from alloy steel and are available in both Grade 80 and Grade 100. While the overall design is similar between grades, Grade 100 options provide higher working load limits and improved resistance to wear when used with matching chain.

Each hook is clearly marked with size and grade information to meet DOT requirements and simplify inspection.
