Bolt-On D-Ring Installation
Most bolt-on D-rings include a mounting bracket with two pre-drilled holes for easy installation.
- Mark and drill through the mounting surface for each hole.
- Use appropriate grade bolts, flat washers, and lock nuts for the strongest hold.
- Torque to specification and recheck fasteners periodically.
Note: If you do not drill through the mounting surface, the assembly strength is limited by the fasteners and substrate. The D-ring is only as strong as what it is mounted with and mounted to.
