CCQ Column Caps are from Simpson Strong-Tie and are available in a wide selection of size and finish options to meet the specific needs of your application. Column Caps are designed to provide a high-capacity connection for column-beam combinations. The Q indicates that this hardware comes in a package with all the necessary fasteners included. This design uses Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws to provide faster installation and provides a greater net section area of the column compared to bolts. The SDS screws provide for a lower profile compared to standard through bolts.
