Guy Wire Clamps

Guy wire clamps, also known as guy wire clips, are used to form a secure loop at the end of an EHS guy wire by fastening the dead end back to the standing portion of the strand. The completed loop creates a strong attachment point for guying and structural support applications.

For maximum service life, guy wire clamps are commonly used with guy wire thimbles, which help maintain the shape of the loop while reducing abrasion where the wire contacts connecting hardware.

All guy wire clamps available from Fasteners Plus feature a galvanized finish to help resist corrosion and provide dependable performance in outdoor environments.

Note: Guy wire clamps are intended for guying and structural support applications only and should not be used for overhead lifting.

Drop Forged Guy Wire Clamps

Drop forged wire rope clips utilize a traditional U-bolt and saddle secured with nuts to create a strong, reliable termination. These clips are well suited for heavy-duty guy wire and rigging applications.

Fasteners Plus offers economical imported drop forged clips that meet Federal Specification FF-T-276b Type III, along with premium Crosby® clips manufactured in the USA. Crosby® drop forged wire rope clips provide an efficiency rating of 80% for sizes 1/8" through 7/8" and 90% for sizes 1" through 3-1/2", based on the catalog breaking strength of the wire rope used.

Crosby® Fist Grip® Clamps

Crosby® Fist Grip® wire rope clips feature a bolt-style design with heavy hex nuts that allows for fast, efficient installation. Their design enables installers to maximize each wrench stroke, helping reduce installation time while maintaining a secure connection.

Fist Grip® clips provide an efficiency rating of 80% for sizes 3/16" through 7/8" and 90% for sizes 1" through 1-1/2". All Crosby® Fist Grip® clips are manufactured in the USA and meet or exceed the requirements of ASME B30.26.
