Open & Closed Swage Socket Slings

Sometimes a lift calls for two different connection types on the same sling, and that's exactly what an open & closed swage socket sling gives you. One end carries an open socket with a pin already built in, ready to attach to another fitting or a hook block. The other end carries a closed socket with a hole sized for a bolt or pin. Two different connection styles on one assembly means you're not stuck matching hardware at both ends.

Why the Swage Construction Matters

Each socket is mechanically pressed onto the wire rope, which strengthens the connection right where the cable and socket meet, the point that tends to be the weak link in other termination styles. That construction gives you a sling that resists fatigue better over repeated use, which matters most on the loads this sling is built for.

Sizing for Your Project

Wire rope diameters run from ¼" to 1-1/2", in lengths from 2 feet up to 20 feet. Working load limit scales with size and length, ranging from 0.68 to 22.8 tons across the lineup, so there's room to match capacity to the job without over- or under-building the sling.
